Riemu was BOB with his fifth CC under judge Soile Bister. In junior handling (age group 14-17 years) Meiju's little sister Marja and Spiro were placed fourth.

29.6.2008 Mustiala, Farkkushow
Yesterday we had a lovely day in the Finnish Pharaoh hound and Ibizan hound club's Open show called Farkkushow. Weather was rainy, but we got also some very nice sunshine (:Day started with 23 Ibizan hounds. After them and some PH puppies was Spiro's turn to enter the ring. Judge Mrs. Eli-Marie Klepp from Norway chose him BIS male without testicles from three dogs! Spiro doesn't get a critique so often so here you are: " Masculin yet elegant male. Very nice head and expression. Very erected ears. Good crest of neck. Very well laid back shoulder. Strong topline. Good front. OK angulations. Good kneebone. Moves very well. Very well presented." Right after Spiro was junior males and Riemu's turn. Riemu was showing very nicely and won his class! Later he was also chosen BIS junior. Total of 59 Pharaohs were entered!
28.6.2008 Mustiala, National Sighthound Specialty
Today I (Meiju) and Riemu travelled to Mustiala for national sighthound specialty. Riemu got VG and won his class as the other two junior males got G. Totally 10 of 29 pharaohs (of which three was puppies) got G so have to be satisfied with the VG (: Judge was Mrs. Paula Bockman-Chato from Australia. Tomorrow we’ll head again to Mustiala and this time to Farkkushow!
15.6.2008 Forssa Int
Today we were in international show held in Mustiala. Our judge was suddenly changed on Thursday and pharaohs were judged by Mrs. Riitta Lahtovaara. Riemu was BM3 with r-CC and r-CACIB. The cacib winning male is already Int Ch, though not yet confirmed by FCI, so actually Riemu gained his first CACIB in the first show after turning 15 months old on Wednesday!
24.5.2008 Helsinki Int Aptus Show
Five Pharaohs entered under judge Robert Dawson from the Philippines in international dog show in Helsinki. Riemu was BOB, BOB-junior and got CC! From finals we got just a lot of good practise....
19.5.2008 Match Show
Today was Spiro's turn to enter a show and Riemu was left home. Because Spiro is castrated, we can't go in official dog shows with him. But we have to show our beautiful boy somewhere, so today we were in a Match Show here in Turku. And it went great -Spiro was BIS!
18.5.2008 Pori group specialty
Riemu was today BOS with CC under judge Janiki Steinbock.
11.5.2008 Rauma
Today Riemu got his second CC and was BOB in national all breed show in Rauma. His already moving very nicely, but gets easily too enthusiastic when running between other dogs... so, do you guess how our entry to group finals went? (;
27.4.2008 Vaasa Int
Riemu was BM 3 with reserv-CC. Judge was Rita Kadike-Skadina from Latvia.
20.4.2008 Jyväskylä Int
Riemu got his first CC! Suprisingly just three PH's were entered, but I'm very satisfied with Riemu getting an excellent under judge Kari Järvinen. In this show they also chose BIS-junior. Riemu was BOB junior, but didn't get any placement in the finals. Lovely day anyway! Thank you Anni for taking care of Spiro while we were away (:
We've also started some new hobbies past two weeks: With Spiro we have been in a blood tracking course. It's really suprising to see how accurate dog's nose can be! And Spiro is really enjoying blood tracking (: Riemu has tried blood tracking once, this week he'll get to try it a second time. With Riemu we've also started agility. We had the first gathering last week and it was so much fun! Can't wait until tomorrow for the next time!
15.3.2008 Tampere Int
Today 11 Pharaohs entered international show in Tampere. Riemu was fourth best male with reserv-CC.
8.3.2008 Match Show
Today was a Match Show here in Turku so we went to train for next weekend's Tampere Int with Riemu. Riemu got a red ribbon and was place second in puppies. Next time Riemu will be in big adults, because he's already almost 1 year old! imagine...
3.2.2008 Keuruu group specialty
This weekend was a group specialty show in Keuruu. Riemu was second best male with reserv-CC under judge Riitta Lahtovaara.
26.1.2008 Winter Dog Show in Turku
Riemu's first official dog show. Riemu got an excellent and was placed third in junior males. The judge Andre van den Broek said very nice things about Riemu outside the judgement, which of course made us even more happy. Enigma had BOB breeders group, so in his first show, Riemu got to feel the atmosphere of finals too.

13.1.2008 and 20.1.2008 Match Shows
We've attended two Match Shows with Riemu in past two weeks. Riemu got a red ribbon both times, but no placement. But we had fun and got good practise!
